Don't eat the snow!

We get snow in NC about once every 2 yrs, and only enough for snow-cream once every 5 or 6 yrs. Last time I had some was 7 yrs ago. I love snow-cream, I've eaten it all my life, whenever we had enough snow to make it. Of course we would set a pot outside to collect snow, not scoop it up off of varous locations. Plus I already have Pseudo. I know it sounds gross but when you think about it, bacteria is everywhere. In the rain, in the dust, in the air, on your skin (reguardless of how many times you wash)...its everywhere. Unless you live in a bubble, you can not escape it but so much. The question comes down to not if there is bacteria, but if it is a good bacteria or bad. So, I'm gonna enjoy life and eat some snow-cream. Plus it hasnt killed me yet *knock on wood*.

Pseudomonas syringae is a plant pathogen, not an animal pathogen (like Pseudomonas aeruginosa)... so you shouldn't be worried about this.

Even if PA were falling from the sky I'd still go skiing. I also take hot steamy showers... every single day. I live on the edge.

DS loves to eat snow -- we prefer he eat the "pristine" freshly fallen stuff. Did put a stop to his trying to eat "zamboni" snow at the indoor rink last week. Bleah.
