Is anyone on this for their CF. I am on it for Acne, ugh!!!! That is a WHOLE other story....but I was hoping the drug would have some added benefits for CF in case I am going to be on it for awhile.

Anyone that has problems with sun or stomach issues while on Doxycycline this form of it called Doryx that I am on I have had NO problems at all on it and I always have problems with drugs....so in case anyone out there has bad tummies try this version. It is a brand name so more expensive.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Any thoughts, comments!

I use to be on Doxy for maintenance between my Tobi cycles. It is a pretty powerful drug. It DOES NOT target PA; but, it seemed to keep things in check for me. My GI told me that it can be very irritating for your upper GI......so drink lots of water, don't take too close to bedtime, and elevate your head a bit at night if you don't already. I HOPE you find some added benefits to it. I find this drug very east to tolerate.

My clinic is doing a clinical trial on doxy for its anti-inflammatory properties similar to zithromax.

I'll let you know the outcome, but so far it's looking very good....
