I do not want to "rain on anyone's parade" here, but it saddens me to har the folks that say "my 5 or 6 yr old is doing SO well!!!" so did my daughter. PLEASE just be realistic. then it will not be as devastating when the s*** hits the fan later. NO NEED to fall into the depths of despair YET, but I'll tell ya, deluding ones self also is NOT the thing to do. This is a PROGRESSIVE disease. that is the KEY word PROGRESSIVE. I spent SO much time in denial. and if I had it to do over again, I would have REALLY tried to find a happy medium!
