Dr from Perth Aus'

Craigs regular CF dr is in hospital with pnumonia, well he may be out now, and his wife is due to give birth, so he has been off for a while. One of his associate dr's took the clinic yesterday.
Dr Brian Kelly, he tells us that he dealt with Cf in Perth Australia, he is a very nice young dr with 5 kids, so his 'bedside manner' was tip top.

We have came across quite a number of health are workers from Australia, Drs, nurses, physiotherapists and dieticians, and I can say this that they are one of the most pleasant nationalities that we have had the pleasure to speak with in the hospitals.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">.

Why would they want to leave sunny Australia and come to wet rainy Scotland?

they want to leave here because our hospitals have nothing to offer them but a whole lot of stress and frustration. most of the paediatric cf docs in perth are excellent and like you say have a good bedside manner, but they always end up leaving due to those reasons.

Its wet in vic today gonna have snow in grampians so they say brrrrrrrrrr. wish it was sunny!!! My daughter is sick at moment and the cold weather makes her cough non stop.

seems a pity that this may be a reason for them to leave Kylie, I was thinking that maybe because the population of Australia isn't that high, mind you Scotlands pop' is that great either, that they would get a more diversity of paitent in the UK, could that me nearer the truth?
I' m sure the NHS is not that much better than the health care system in Australia.
I wish we could stay in a sunnier climate, so I suppose it works both ways, constant heat I think would be a drag. I do love the snow lol and would surely miss it.
