Dry feet, nasty toenails...

I've always hated my toenails. I keep them painted, because they sure look better that way. I also have really dry feet that crack and bleed. I do have diabetes, though. Anyway, I will put lotion in a Ziplock freezer bag, put them on my feet and then put on thick socks to hold them in place while I sleep. That seems to help quite a bit.

hate to admit it, but yup! all my life. and i was not dx with cfrd until 2008. my feet and hands have always embarrassed me. when i get motivated, i do an intense pedi/ mani at home. soak soak soak and then scrub my feet with a terracotta foot scrubber. also vaseline helps. just slab some on and then put socks over the feet and go to bed. if you do this on a regular basis is should improve. my problem is being regular with this. good luck.

Psoriasis. Trust me. My feet bothered me for YEARS, they were dry, the nails were disgusting, and during the winter I could barely walk because they would crack open and bleed. Then we finally went to a dermatologist, in 5 seconds he looked an said "Thats some bad Psoriasis there". Two creams (Dovonex and Clobetasol Proprionate) and a nail polish-esque medicine and my feet look almost normal, if not a little red. If you do have Psoriasis your feet will be scaly, hard, and crack. THe nails may be a little greenish and can be malformed. Go to a dermatologist, trust me. I can now walk in cold weather!

One jar costs the same as a pedicure and it lasts for a few months.
