DS is having the sweat test tomorrow!!!

He is having it at CF accredited childrens hospital here in NJ! I am so relieved that we were able to get teh appt sooner then later, but to be honest I am so scared and nervous! '
I forgot what my dr. said about how long before the results will be in, anyone have any idea? i will ask again tomorrow!

It is going to be a LONG few days!

14 years ago, we got the sweat test results within a couple of hours of the test, same day. I don't know if that has changed or not or if it depends on where the test is done, but I think it is fairly quick.

The lab will have the results in an hour or so. So it really depends on the clinic on how long it takes for them to relay the results to you. If you don't hear from them by the next morning definately call them.

Hi Nicole- What CF center is the test being done? We also had our son's sweat test in NJ and he sees a CF doctor in NJ- Monmouth Medical.

Megan, mom to Aidan CF and Gavin, no CF
