I understand the need for some threads going into the prayer request area, but I don't think losing someone in the CF battle is just a prayer request. Doing this takes away from the adult section being a notification posting. As in the case with Jeremy. I did not view it as just a prayer request. Julie also was letting others know we had lost another good person to the CF battle. Secondarly, prayers were requested and rightfully so, for the family.

If someone is specifically asking for prayers, for their cat that is having an operation or for prayers getting through a tough personal crisis, then I can see where these messages should get in the prayer section.

But i liked it better when everything was in one place since i only go to one place and rarely have time to go elsewhere.
But i do understand why you feel the need for seperate threads.

As we got busier, we made more threads at the suggestion of the community.
We introduced blogs in March 2006.

Oopsie, I didnt mean only one thread completely, i meant in the Adults section everyone would post everything in there. Then it became so busy that you had to add more threads, like off topic, prayer, pregnancy, birthdays , etc.......
I certainly understand the reasoning for adding those, but i myself never check them because i am still stuck in the past and only come here to the adults section.........lol
I remember when blogs became the new thing, and havent made one mostly because i dont have time to add to one and barely even have time to read anyones unless it really catches my eye.
