Something told me to stop by cause my ears were ringing.

Thank you all for the well-wishes and prayers.

Since most of my CF friends are on FB, thats where I posted first (I also have a lot of re-connections with old HS freinds) to let everyone know I was far from the biggest disaster, but did recieve the percussion of it.

Our company shook at an earthquake level of 3, and it was 2 at the house when the quake came on Friday (at 2:45 pm to be precise).
(Note: Earth tremor magnetude and levels are different- Magnetude is the energy of the quake, the level is a range from not feeling a thing to having cement streets crack and houses collapsing)

My wife has family in Fukushima Prefecture, but further inland. The earthquake took out all telephone communications so it took a while before we could reach them to find out they were ok.

The biggest devestation was the Tsunami, since one of its effects was flooding the generators that were supposed to pump fresh water into the reactors to cool them, which are now a new concern; in addition to the unaccountable people from the earthquake.

It is uncanny how the earthquake followed NZ's and was even more powerful...I hope the earth can finish with its restlessness and go back to sleep.
