Eating during treatments

Just curious if anyone ever eats while doing their treatment? (Other than the obvious risk of choking with food in their mouth.) Does anyone ever do it? With limited time in a cfers day, every minute counts. Lungs health and treatments are important and so is getting the calories in.

Please let me know what you think. We have been doing this for a while now with no problems, but trying to do the best thing for the overall health.

Thank you.

When I'm done with my HTS while vesting (usually leaves about 10 minutes left), I'll eat b'fast or dinner.

It's never caused me an issue.

Interesting topic, I was thinking of starting one about what we all do while doing treatments. I do not eat, because I use the e-flow, which requires that I have the "tube" in my mouth, but sometimes when I do treatments for my sinisitus with a mask, I have wondered about eating, but so far haven't.

I agree that we need all the time we can get, during the day, so combining other things while doing treatment, is necessary. In the mornings I get dressed, put on jewelery, watch tv or read during treatment, at night, I relax and watch tv. I don't have children, but can imagine that this changes your rutine. You have to do a lot of things at the same time.

So, out of curiousity, what do you others do while doing treatment? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I use my vest while eating quite often. I make sure I do not eat something with bones or a food that requires a lot of chewing. I also slow down the speed of the machine until after I am done. I never thought to ask my doctor if this practice was dangerous or not.
