sakasuka,
I didn't read your whole blog on the eflow, my attention span won't allow me. However, I did read enough and looked at the pics to know I want it for my little one. </end quote></div>
it's a lot to digest at once, yes. definitely take your time and read bits and pieces per setting you'll find many answers to your questions there (which is why I posted .... information is power!!!).
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>She's 4 1/2 and starting to really want to play during treatments. My concern however is the mouth piece. Do you know if you can attache a Mr Bubbles face mask to it? With this, she can roam around the house as well, correct? Just put the "base" in your pocket? </end quote></div>
Not quite sure if Mr. Bubbles attaches to it. I would contact your eFlow provider for your geography (i talk about that on my blog.... distributors are set up by geography) and see if they have experience with that.
Make sure you're comfortable with the clinicical studies before presenting this to your doctor. As you know, there is a "bell curve" with physicians in terms of keeping up with the latest research and technology. some CF docs have been very willing to Rx the eFlow and others have said it hasn't been on the market long enough or there aren't any studies (clearly demonstrating their ignorance). So you may have to take the roll to education the physician (which I'm sure isn't new to you... this happens with CF docs sometimes).
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>I'm going to continue to research, but what have you found about Tobi? Will it work? </end quote></div>
You will find the tobramycin clinical studies with the eFlow on my blog. tobramycin is similar to TOBI. TOBI is not used in the eFlow but tobramycin is which is just fine.
And it's not that TOBI doesn't work. It's that Novartis won't allow it to be used in the eFlow. Long story, not worth getting into. But you can get around it by using tobramycin.
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>I first dismissed it when I was told Tobi wouldn't work, but heck, that thing would still be worth it even if she's still tied down for the one Tobi treatment.</end quote></div>
