OK, i went onto Emily's blog and there is the following brief update from her sister:

This Emily's sister Abby, just a quick update:

After running into a few difficulties, though nothing unheard of at this point, Em has been put back on the ventilator. She is still improving in many ways but today has made it clear the road to recovery will be very long and difficult .

Thank you for all your kind messages, I will update when there is more news but as it is very much a case of 'wait and see' right now so updates may be slow but we are still very hopeful and know Emily is getting the best possible care from Harefield's brilliant team.

I'm disappointed to hear she is back on the vent, the poor girl has been to hell and back over the last couple of years while waiting for her transplant and i was really hopeful she'd have a textbook operation and recovery, but it seems she still needs to fight the hard fight. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers and keep an eye on her blog.

I pray that Emily has a steady recovery. I spent quite some time reading this amazing woman's blog...so very very touching, her strength shines through even during the bad days she experienced. Many hugs to her and her family and friends, Jenn <img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">

Found another thread to catch up on. Check out her site--it's great. They are organizing a comedy benefit! Emily has had a hard time, but is sure a fighter! I don't know her, but she is my hero! Keep fighting Emily!

After reading these messages about her i am going to read her blog. She sounds like a great girl. I hope for the best for her, and will say a prayer that she has an easier road from here on.

I am so sorry i didn't update anymore.. There haven't been very frequent messages on Emily's blog and when there were i didn't think of updating..<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">

Emily is doing better and better, she is still on the vent (via a trach(sp?) tube) but i think she is off it sometimes, and breathing on her own. I read that she was on tv today, in England.

Emily is a fighter and i know she will get there!
