Hi,
I am not a CF patient but instead recently began taking enzymes due to general enzyme deficiency and I have a few questions since I imagine many here happen to be experienced with taking these meds. First off, I take Ultrase 20. Noteably, at times I have not found it to be as helpful as a strong over the counter pancreatic enzyme that I found. Perhaps I am not taking enough Ultrase? Is there a per calorie measure that any of you generally use to know how much to take with a meal? Secondly, is "pancreatin" which appears on the label of many OTC enzymes a substance that I am not getting with my prescription brand?
