I just talked to my CF nurse about the use of that drug today. I have an almost four year old who is a terrible eater (although gains weight pretty well with high cal milk) and vomits a lot. We are always surprised when he vomits that the food is from hours and hours before so we think that there is a motility issue. We're going to do an x-ray tomorrow as a first course of action and then possibly try the drug. I'd also love to hear any input.

my son is also a year and was on prevacid since diagnosis. After they found fat lipids in a bronchoscopy, they added the reglan. really bad side effects with one.... we took him off and put him on the erythromiycin and have had no problems or side effects. so happy that i made the switch. also the medicine doesn't taste as bad as the reglan and easier to give. my son always used to gag witht he reglan. i hear that it's just as effective. so why they even bother with the reglan i have no clue. best of luck and hope this one works for your son as well.
