Event to raise money for CF???

I am on a "CF Committee" for our area. You should have no problem getting help from your local CFF. There should be a committee in your area if the CFF is so close. Ours is made up of local people affected & non-affected by CF. Yours may be the same. Just depends on how active the group is to how much help you can get. The 1st time is usually trial & error. You'll get the hang of it. Your first step is contacting the CFF, then figuring out how big you want it to be, looking for "free" advertisement in local "community calenders. Ask you employer if they want to be a sponsor. Email is a handy thing,email EVERYONE you know. You'll be suprised how it all falls together. GOOD LUCK!

The CFF have been very helpful to us. I would inlist their help. We have done a couple of different fundraisers. It always helps when you use something that you are good at or interested in.
