ymikhale - Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely going to talk to them about this, and go with what my gut has said since the beginning, & feed my daughter as she wants. This is actually what I questioned them over before....they wanted her to eat no more then 6 oz every 3 hours, weather she wanted more or not. I've followed along so far, but I haven't been happy about it.

Robin - I'll make sure to come find you guys, if we head up Monday. Thanks for letting me know about the clinic's theory on Antibiotics. It sure helps to have someone with the same Dr. to talk to!! Paige is also still too young for Tamiflu. She needs to be 6 months old before they can prescribe any type of Flu Vaccine. So we have to tuff it out until December, and be extra careful. Which is yet another reason why I'm so upset that they don't want to see her.

Paige also still has her cough and congestion today, so I'm going to call Paula Monday (Which is who has been handling all my calls...except for Friday, when Kari took it) Paula wasn't against us coming up, she was willing to schedule us if I wanted her too, but this was Wednesday when things kicked up....She was off work Friday when I finally wanted to....does that make sense lol?

Well, we were in the ER at 1AM this morning Paige had been fever free for 24 hours, but all of a sudden her fever came back, and she was almost inconsolable After quite a few phone calls at about midnight, we finally went in. Long story short....she doesn't have the Flu or RSV THANK GOD! We saw her PCP today, and she said that it would be a little premature to call this pneumonia, but that it's very close to being so. SO, she put us on Zythromax and we're going to keep a close eye on her.

She also calmed my fears about being paranoid or overreacting. She's the only Dr. I truly trust right now with Paige's care, so I guess it cemented it in my head to hear it from her, that with CF, there IS no overreacting. I'm also glad though, that I followed my instincts weather I thought I was annoying the hell outta the Dr's or not. If I hadn't, we may not have caught this, and she may have ended up with full blown pneumonia.

SO...Mommy & Paige: 1 CF:0

Glad they caught it before it got worse. That is great news it is not rsv or the flu. Now the PCP gave you the zithromax. Do you know what bacteria your daughter has cultured in the past? Did the PCP consult the CF clinic about what antibiotic to use? You might already know this, but the CF clinic has a list of specific antibiotics that will work according to Paige's last culture result. More often than not, the PCP will not have access to this list.

Wow! I didn't know that. Paige has never cultured anything besides Staph, & Normal Flora. I'm assuming everything is fine, because she was going to call our CF DR afterward, and I know they would've called if they wanted to change anything. I'll give em a call though & make sure! Thanks for letting me know!!!
