Excessive Teeth Staining...Anybody else have this problem????

I used to not have any dental staining but now they are getting extreme. First let me begin by saying, like many others, I have had the yellowish stained teeth from day one.

About 2 years ago, I noticed that my teeth were getting stained significantly faster than before. Now I notice that within 4-6 weeks after a dental hygienist cleaning they are starting to stain significantly.

I am brushing 2-3 times per day, using Rembrandt toothpaste, using listerine mouth rinse (teeth whitener), flossing and none of it is making a difference.

I am convinced that it could be any of the following: aerosolized treatments that I do daily: Vancomycine, Colistimethate, hypertonic saline, Cayston/Aztreonam.

Is anybody else having this problem? Have you found a solution?

I had that problem for years. I finally made the decision to get veneers on my front teeth and just keep maintaining the rest. It was expensive, but for me, it was the right decision.

I have the same problem and I've found two things that help, I use the Crest Vivid White toothpaste and when they start to get bad in between dentist visits I'll use the Crest White Strips the only bad thing about those is they're usually $30-40 but I've seen results with them and it lasts a fair amount of time. At one time I had checked into getting my teeth whitened using the Zoom Whitening, but its about $200+ dollars and I wasn't ready to spend that much quite yet.

i have always had the same problem, but i got the night white bleech kit from my dentist..they do an impression and make a mold of your teeth. i have been using it off an on for 10 years. the only thing is, is that u have to give ur teeth a break because it will cause sensitivity big time! but i loove it..once u get ur teeth the color u want..u only have to use it maybe once or twice a year to maintain it.. it just takes a few hours wearing it, or u can sleep with it in...like a retainer. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Jess has similar problems. we've always called her back teeth her popcorn teeth. that's what they look like. yellow splotchy popcorn kernels
Crest Whitestrips really do work.
still not sure what caused this problem and no one has been able to clarify it in any.
