Exhausted from swimming a really short distance

Don't get discouraged....you just need to build up.

I can do 30 minutes of Tae Bo just fine, but I get winded going up a flight of stairs. It's only because I do not do them on a regular basis. (We live in a rancher.) Give your body time to adjust and you'll do just fine. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Yea it seems like alot of us have stories similiar to yours.

I was on the swimteam/became a lifeguard as well but a few years later after not being in the pool for a while I could really tell the difference. It was a big blow for me as well.

It can be hard knowing that you will never achieve what you once had, but if you just keep at it you will see improvement and that improvement will give you the motivation to keep at it. Best of luck.
