My husband "teated" us to a diet coke and mentos display this summer while we were camping. It really was fun to watch. Of course, none of us had seen teh episode, so we had no idea what he was doing when he pulled a 2 litre of diet out of the truck...But it was fun. Definately not an inside thing, though. Messy!

People did this at work during the summer. It was hilarious. Mostly so because they tried to put the lid back on and that is just not a good idea. Went in their faces & up their noses. It is so worth it to try though. It is awesome, it shoots everywhere. And I think it can be any cola, we used a generic and it was just as good. You've got to try it or at least watch someone do it. You'll die laughing.
