You can tell him that Shawn (my oldest) and I both have hazel eyes... greenish around the middle with a golden brown ring around them. Ours both look more green with certain colors we wear or if we're in bright sun, and especially with me, more light brownish with other colors. His were blue for a long time, and slowly turned green and then hazel, by the time he was a toddler.

Emily has always had blue eyes, but unlike Timothy with light ice-blue eyes (like his dad!) hers are darker blue w/ a tint of gray to them.

My sister's eyes go from brown to green, they change with her mood really.

My eyes stay the same light blue color they have always been
