I have to agree... I am tired of hearing about this medication and the fact that it only helps the smallest group of cf patients isnt that impressive to me.With the several hundred million a year the CF foundation brings in per year there should be more then the few meds coming down the pipeline. The 78 million they have put into research is peanuts compared to what they have for money. They are using this vx-770 to blow smoke over the fact that in the last 5 years only 1 other medication has been approved and that was cayston. I am also pissed about the FDA BS In order for a drug to be approved in the US. Europe an Australia already have 3 or 4 of the drugs in phase 2 or 3 already approved and being used to treat cf successfully. I only wish Ron Paul wins the primary so he wins the election and eliminates the FDA so new medications for many diseases don't have to go through all the crap they have to go through.
