All I know about it is that I have one! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
My last alt was 80 and my ast was 93 (in July 08)
before that they were (alt) 85 and (ast) at 98 (May 08)

Mine go up and down all of the time, heck in march of 08 my alt was 124 with ast at 133! I just watch my cholesterol, and am supposed to keep my weight in check (I'm my clinics "cubby" CFer!!) But, Even if you aren't overweight, a healthy diet and daily physical activity may reduce inflammation, lower elevated levels of liver enzymes and decrease insulin resistance.

This site was interesting <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.liverfoundation.org/education/info/fattyliver/">Fatty Liver Foundation</a>

<img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">

PS- on my testing results sheet it states that alt should be between 6 and 41 and ast should be bewteen 9 and 34. But I too was told that my numbers were not considered worrisome.
