Eek, how could one pick a favorite song, I swear mine changes every week.
I like everything from Eminem to Tim McGraw.
Country, Classical, Blues, Jazz, Rap, R & B, Pop, Even German Industrial (that's a new one) and no I don't speak german :p Pretty much EVERYTHING. Music... well, I can't imagine what life would be like without it.
As for my RECENT favorite new song <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> That would be Staind - So Far Away

Luke, 7 Mary 3 is awesome!!!! They were to come here to Dallas a few years ago, but Jay Leno put them on his show at the last minute!!! I love Tool, my favorite song ever is "Sober"..

i like EVERYTHING, except i think heavy metal....i love it all, country, rap, r&B, ....omg i LOVE music....and the Grammy's let me tell, u, the performances were incredible!!!

dead can dance

while listening to the radio, I usually tune in to alternative / rock stations...

A canon is a type of classical music. Pachelbel was a composer (I think his first name was Johan or something like that.) Anyway, the canon he wrote is so popular now, people just call it Pachelbel's Canon for recognizability, like saying Beethoven's fifth. =-)

This is intresting because my new favorite song is Miracle Drug by U2 if you havent heard it yet it is on their new CD (how to dismantle an atomic bomb) This song gives hope to those who need it. The lyrics explain an amanzing and insperational story about a boy who could not move a musle but his eyes. The story is that they found a pill that allowed him to move his neck an inch and was able to type poems that he had written in his head. This story is an insperation to my life and I have found comfort and hope in this song!
