Ditto Anomie - if you have a gating mutation or R117H, it is worth talking to your doctor (and/or you could look into the clinical trials they are starting this year).

The prescribing info for Kalydeco specifically says that it does not work for doubleDF508.

That is an interesting article Amy. I wonder if there is anything dating past this phase of the trials showing enough benefits to anyone with df508 taking 770 alone. They found in later phases of the trial process that a greater level of cftr function was needed to bring about improvement in symptoms, fev1, etc (for example that a combination of 2 correctors may be needed to bring about the 25%+ improvement in function that is needed. I'm not sure that in earlier phases that they believed as much correction of function would be necessary.)
