Where I work we have many people with the same problem, and I had never seen the attachment thingie. We use silk medical tape, but any flexible tape will do in a pinch.

I like the duct tape idea, I bet that idea didn't make the 1001 uses for duct tape <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> .
