Feeding Pumps

Does anyone on here use the Joey feeding pump for your G-tube feedings? The medical co. sent out a new one becuase my other Joey pump stoped working. Now the new one stoped working last night. so I got half my feed in. is anyone having this issue with there feeding pumps? and what feeding pump do you use for your tube-feeds?

Sorry we use the Zevex Infinity feeding pump. We have never had any problems with it, and it has some great functions like being able to program it for infinity amount of food, so it can go all night and at any rate. It goes al the way up to 600 an hour, but he does his at 100 an hour at night. But this is useful when he doesnt want to drink the formula, or if I know hw will throw up if I give a manual bolas feed.

Hopw you get your pump issues figured out.

It goes al the way up to 600 an hour, but he does his at 100 an hour at night. But this is useful when he doesnt want to drink the formula, or if I know hw will throw up if I give a manual bolas feed.

We also use the Zevex Infinity Pump and we love it. We actually switched home health companies about 3 months ago and before that we used Clear Star. We did use the Joey pump when Mason was a baby which was about 8 years ago but we haven't used it since.

I would maybe contact the home health company and see if they have a different kind of pump that you can try since you are having so many problems with the Joey.

We use the Joey pump as well. It is hit or miss with the darn thing. We are constantly fiddling with it to make it work. It seems as though we have more issues in the evenign when we are tired!!
