Feeling a little uneasy about tommorrow's Dr. visit

We have a Dr. visit tommorrow at our clinic and I'm a bit uneasy. We went to WIC today and when they weighed my sonhe weighed 10lb 1oz and he's 3 months old, I'm not sure how that rates on the growth chart but when we went to the CF clinic about 2 weeks ago he weighed 9lb 11oz so that would mean he only gained like 6 oz in like 15 days which would mean that his weight gained has slowed because previously he was gaining about an ounce a day.I'm concerned that they aren't going to like the fact that his gain has slowed as they already feel he is behind. They changed his formula, his enzyme, and had me remove the cereal from his formula, I wonder if this is contributing to the slow? I definitely will be talking to the dietician but she's not my favorite so we'll see. I just really needed to vent about my concern and will post again after our visit.

If there is a concern, I would ask the dietician about increasing the calories within the formula. We had a recipe for a higher calorie formula (more powder to water ratio) given to us when ds left the NICU. DS was also never ever hungry and the local doctor would tell us to just feed him when he was hungry. Well he would never GET hungry, so our CF clinic in the City had us on a schedule of feeding him every 3-4 hours.

They actually did give us a recipe for upped calories but for some reason when we swtched formula she switched the amount of powder so I wonder if that made a difference, I will have to ask.

In my experience all scales weigh differently. My son has been weighed at his ped office one day and the cf clinic the next, the difference has been up to 10ounces. I totally understand your stress about weight gain, every ounce is a big deal. Grants dietician never seems satisfied with his weight gain. good luck I hope your little does well at the cf clinic, keep us updated
