In my experience all scales weigh differently. My son has been weighed at his ped office one day and the cf clinic the next, the difference has been up to 10ounces. </end quote></div>

I agree with this plus for adults (not sure how much in kids) the time of day will cause variations in weight. For me up to 2 pounds from morning to afternoon!

I still get nervous at ds' appointments. For one thing he always, always seems to take a huge dump prior to the appointment and darnit, we could've used those extra pounds. Plus the scale at the local clinic is several pounds off, so then I get a disapproving look and a lecture and then two weeks later the scale at the CF clinic shows a normal weight. We finally got an accurate scale for home, so we know ahead of time how much he's going to weigh.

When DS got older, it got to the point where I just didn't tell the one local cf doctor that I was giving DS cream in his carnation instant breakfast 'cuz he'd try to talk me out of it. We worked hard to keep the weight on him and were barely scraping by at 50th percentile at the time.
