I started my period the other day and of course it made me feel terrible..but i also noticed that not only was i having the normal cramps and fatigue that go along with it, my lungs felt worse too (shortness of breath, more coughing..). I was just wondering if any other females experience these problems when they have their monthly cycle as well????

I love being a woman, but sometimes....grrrrrrrrrr</end quote></div>

This happens to me every month (or every time I have my period. They are pretty irregular now, but used to be every 28 days). I can compare my list of antibiotic prescription dates to my cycle and it's almost identical. Hormones are crazy things...

This happens to me as well. My CF always worsens around this time of the month and I tend to have a significant flare up of my asthma as well. I've always suspected these hormonal flare ups are why women with CF tend to live less than men with CF. Its almost like getting about 12 mini colds a year and all that has got to add up over time.
