Fever cough

My son without CF had a fever as high as 101.7; yesterday ran a fever all day from 100-101 finally broke, never had a sore throat. He is now fever free but of course hacking and coughing.

Just bracing myself for my CF'er to get it..We had all our flu shots. Do you think it's just a run of the mill respiratory virus? Do you get a fever that high?

Hoping Maggie dodges this bullet but it's not likely. My son is feeling better except for the cough, cough cough. Maggie is fine right now. So, is my son still contagious now that his fever is gone? Just trying to keep them from playing on top of each other, but they just love to fight and it's really hard.

Oh well, Maggie just ran in the kitchen and said her brother spit on her! He actually just razzberried at her but right in her face; Gray hair they come.

Oh my, yeah, I guess she's already exposed. It sounds like a flu-type thing, but it could just be a bad repiratory bug too. I hope Maggie avoids it and your son fares well. Before CF in our house, coughs really didn't phase me, but now even when its another kiddo, it still makes me cringe.

There have been times when I thought for sure he would get sick from something Becca had, or a bug around school, but he was just fine.
