we went on vaca and my mother decided to take it upon herself to take my sons temp...it was 99.6 and so she took it the next day and the same...it was always around noon...and he keeps complaining of a headache...is this cf??? does anyone notice this? or is this something more??? any ideas?

When DS was younger he'd sometimes run a temp -- while on vacation. Usually he only did that when he had an ear infection, so I'd give him tylenol and monitor him overnight and he was usually fine. What I suspect now was that he wasn't so great about keeping hydrated when he was younger.

Does he have any other symptoms? Headache could be caused by the fever.. DS' usually was only to cut back on his eating. Could it just be his norm? Or certain times of the day ones temp does fluctuate...
