Finally, a little good news

Luke,

Thanks for the info. I'm so undisciplined when it comes to exercise. I have my horses and in the spring and summer I get exercise from them. But in the winter-when I probably need it the most I don't. It's just unmotivation and laziness. So how do you stay on top of your routine?
To embarrass myself more-my hubby got me a gym membership and I go through waves with it. I have a few months of religious devotion to it, and a few months where I desert it.

Christian,

As many of us, I have my regimen and I try not to deviate. I get up around 430 or 5 every morning, not by choice, I just wake up. I do two nebs.. xopenex and Hypertonic saline...and then off to the Y where I meet some friends for a work out. I love basketball so I usually shoot hoops for 15-30 minutes before they get there at 615 or so. We try to get our work out done in under an hour. I then come back home do my pulmozyme and sometimes tobi(depends on the month). When my wife is home(she works nights) we do CPT after I get home. As dedicated as she is I really don't think she is a fan of the 0500 CPT. Then off to work... I normally get home around 5pm and do another xopenex/HS treatment, my wife does CPT again. When I manage to stay up past 930 or 10 I do another xopenex and pulmoyme treatment and more CPT (when she is home). I only get this last one in 4-5 days a week...when my wife works I am normally asleep by 830 or 9. Anyway, this is my M-F routine. On Saturday's I really only do my treatments and run. I normally run as long as I can on Saturdays.

The key to my workout is the buddy system....You have to find someone dependable to work out with. Being a guy, I find I do better with someone who will just make my life miserable if I miss and I will do the same....this can not be my spouse (that would lead to a huge fight!) I work with some guys that are "getting ready for summer". When someone misses we rag each other relentlessly if they are a no show. Many mornings you drag your tired carcass out just to prevent the trash talk. Anyway...works for me.

One more thing....my incentive is easy, I do not want to die and plan on fighting it every step of the way.
