He has made some tremendous strides this past few days. On Thursday night they stopped the Dialysis and his kidneys did their thing and his creatinine went down on its own, it is back down to normal now. his BUN is lowering as well and is about 1/2 what it was when they began the dialysis.
So, They will be taking the dialysis catheter out next week. After he has had a week showing that he doesnt need it.
Today he got up and walked the halls, O2 free. Thats right no O2. He was Satting at 100% on room air!!!!!!
His lungs sound squeeky clean! And his right lobe is now completely open and no longer collapsed at all!
It is like looking at a different child than the one we have been seeing for the past month here at the ICU. It is nice to see Garran again...
We will be travelling home tomorrow morning at 9 am. Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement.
