They FINALLY showed the blazes on the teli last night...seems that darn ole dessert wind was the culprit...thank goodness it wasn't a careless smoker or something, though it still is tough for all those living in that area.
They showed some pretty scary scenes, and exhausted firefighters!
I do hope those of you, like lightNlife and CowTown, have network connection to be able to give an "all ok" update! Thinking of you all!!

The fire closest to me, the one in Orange County, was started by arson. They don't expect to have it contained for at least another week. And I heard that the firefighters in San Diego have almost conceded defeat - it may just burn to the ocean!

My nephew is at Marine boot camp at Camp Pendleton, which I assume is near San Diego? Does any one know if CP is near any of the fires?
