My son has has his first cold since his diagnosis 1 month ago. Trying to remain calm. We have increased breathing treatments, started antibiotics, increased airway clearance and doing what we can to keep it out of his chest. How do I keep form going crazy?

First cold is always the worst. Worrying that it'll get in the lungs. Basically do what you're doing. Remember being the same way --- worrying. I also recall DS' doctor telling us that he WILL get colds -- the number quoted was phenomenal -- that he will get sick and the importance of being proactive and "beating" the cough/cold out of him. :) DS was probably one of the healthiest kids in his daycare and didn't get all that many colds.

same here - you are doing alot and can't imagine what more you could do. Just make sure he stays home a few days longer after his last symtoms or treatment with antibiotics stop.
Remember about probiotycs since he is on antibiotics. Best way not go crazy is not to be alone with your feelings - some close maybe.
I guess your son is getting feeling better already
