Hi Christian,
Congrats on making it this far! I gained 30lbs with twins and lost 35lbs five days post partum! Scary! I thought it wasn't going to stop. I'm a fairly thin CFer, 112lbs, 5'4". And I was breastfeeding. The good news is (at least for me) breast feeding made me SO HUNGRY! I was eating 5 meals a day, no joke! And you have room in the belly for all the food again! It's fabulous!
Have you practiced putting a doll or stuffed animal in the car seat. I was a first time mom with my twins (still am a first time mom LOL!) and this is a true story. We were literally releasing the twins from the hospital, dressing them up etc. And it was time to strap them into the car seat. We had NO IDEA how to adjust the straps and the nurse could not help us. I guess she didn't see alot of those brands. It was Peg Perego, which I thought was really popular, but we had to run out to the car and get the manual. No joke! So practice, practice, practice. It eventually becomes second nature and I can't believe I didn't know how to do it. So funny.
Congrats and good luck!
Tara
