first time to be "sick
Hooked up with our new regular doc for Katy today who was kind
enough to do a quick white blood cell count, which was normal,
which makes us pretty sure it is just one of those 72-hours
viruses. Fever spiked to above 103 last night.
It was one of the nights when you sleep next to your
kid, fully clothed, in a three-point stance just in case you feel
the need to make a run to the ER. But fever is down to about
100 today.

But, the good news is that "It's Not A
Tooo-Muh". (sorry I can' let go of the Ahhnold movie
line; it has been a long-standing joke in our family).

Thanks everyone for the input. Am beginning to understand all
of the posts I've been reading about extra extra diligence about
germs, staying away from known sick people, etc.
