Fitting treatments into the day

Hi,
I have 2 w/ CF and I also work part-time. I am lucky to have their dad that stays with them and takes over treatments while I am at work, but they are still draining! They will never end, so you just have to make the best of it all.
I do find it best when I do the nebs early in the morning and get them out of the way, BUT it doesn't always work out that way. Like mentioned above, Jordin is still where she is too hungry when she gets up in the morning, so it's hard to do them before her bottle and she doesn't do so well with nebs right after it either, so we have to wait a little while or else she spits up more. We are not early people and it's hard to change...but it will eventually have to be an early thing just to make everything happen throughout the day.

It is so much to take in and fit it all into your day. You just need to find what schedule works best for you and stick with it. Like they said, it will become routine and you will get used to it. Things will seem to get easier as they become routine <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">)

Feel free to PM me anytime if you need someone to talk to or any advice. Jordin had Tobi and Cipro at around 6 mos of age after culturing Pseudos as well. She is on many nebs and treatments.

Wow, I couldn't imagine having 2 w/CF!! Thank you all for the comments, it has helped me alot. I'm going to try this in the morning..Get Tyler up at 7:30am and do his nebs then bottle at 8:00am...he usually wakes around 8am anyways and he's not extremely hungry when he wakes. Then just do his PT's as we usually do. Not sure when to do the Nebs at night. I mean this is only for a month right now sooo I guess that's not too bad. We'll adjust I guess...Is there a certain amount of time that you have to wait b/w neb treaments to do the next one?

By neb treatment do you mean spacing out your two TOBI nebs? While it is ideal to do them 12 hours apart, I don't know of one single CFer who could work their day that way all the time! I think as long as you run them beginning of day/end of day you are doing great. Andrew's are usually about 9 hours apart. If we have to go off schedule and do his evening nebs a little earlier or later we just do it. It doesn't mess anything up. We use a routine to keep life easy, but we also don't let our routine keep us from living our life. We adjust when we need to.

Please feel free to message me anytime if you need to talk. Also, I wanted to mention that the adult and family threads get the most views. You may get more response there. Again, welcome!
