For those who use the Flutter Valve,do you also use the Vest?

As Brad said, different it depends on the person. Sometimes the vest is enough, sometimes the Flutter is enough, sometimes both is enough.
I used the VEST back in the 80's when I was young, but when the Flutter became widely known I started using it in the 90's, and my vest went forgotten. When the acapella came out they gave me one and I tried it... it was 'ok' for me, it was great to be able to lie down while doing it but I felt like the acapella just didn't give me the resistance I'm used to (when I do therapy, I do it HARD and fiercely, attack my lungs and get it done).
Anyway, a few years ago the doctors asked if I had a vest, and when I said "no" they gave me one. I played around with it for a while and for the past few years have used the vest and the flutter at the same time.
My brother (also with CF) can not do this, if he does his vest he does it before the Flutter because he says it's a little too hard core doing both at the same time.
SO, basically, it depends on the person. I like to hit it hard and fast, so I have a timed program and I like it that way because for years I've done a set program with my Flutter, so I created this timed program on my vest so that it works with the flutter, but also keeps me focused because if I get behind on my flutter routine than I fall out of the vest routine.

FOr those who do both the flutter and vest together, do you do it at the same time as the vest is on and running? Or do you wait until after the vest is finished? Or during the breaks of the vest?

I was wondering this too.

And thank you to EVERYONE for replying, yall are very helpful <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Btw, I do not have a vest, I was just researching online before I spent money on on flutter valve and every article I read pretty much mentioned using the vest first.

I really appreciate everyone's advice, input and help. thanks.

I am not sure if you go to a CF Care Center or not. My Care Center sells Flutters for $25.00 each. I am not sure if this price is less than what it would be online. I use my Flutter when I fly so I do not need to check my vest. I also used my Flutter after having abdominal surgery last year.
