Forum: is it possible to ignore birthday posts

I don't want to be inpolite, but if I click on "new posts" and then have to scroll through 5 pages of Happy Birthday posts for people from whom many are probably not even active here is a little bit annoying.
Is there a possibility to change the settings so these posts are nog shown?

Where have you seen it? I don't get...or could it be, that I switched it off already? *verwirrt*

When you click on "new posts" (up left, under "forum"), you get all the new posts that were written since your last visit to this site. And there are LOADS of birthday posts each day...

I believe that if you select "Home", you will get the latest Forum postings, not including the Birthdays.

I had to click through four pages of birthdays today.
