Fungal infection is a very common type of infection in all over the world. There are various types of fungal infections available like nail fungal infection, scalp infection, foot fungal infection etc. People should maintain proper personal hygiene that really helps in preventing fungal infection.

My Transplant Team has me on Prednisone & Voricanizole (Sp?) Prednisone is part of the anti-rejection regimen, Voricanizole is an anti-fungal. I contracted a fungal infection from my donor. Problem with Voricanizole, it's horribly expensive. Fortunately, Pfizer has a program where if you meet financial guidelines, you get assistance. You may want to ask your CF doctor about Voricanizole.
