After reading a post by Lisa about a CF child licking an exam table; it reminded me a funny, gross, and embarrassing story for my daughter. I may have to delete this story at some point but anyway here goes;.. When my daughter was around 3 or 4 years old we went for a walk outside with her best little friend and her mom. We went to a grassy park, it was winter and snow was melting..The girls were happy to run around and play and this Mom and I were chatting away watching the girls from a distance. My daughter and her friend were playing and being good, I look up and see MY daughter with somthing in her hand and in her mouth. It looked purple and plastic and my daughter looked like she was pretending it was a whistle. I got closer and saw she was holding an old tampon applicator, she found ON THE GROUND, pretending it was a whistle. Both this Mom and I were screaming YuK!!...She looked at me and said "You need to Lysol her mouth!!" I said I can't put LYSOL in her mouth. Needless, to say that play date was over quickly I was so grossed out; I should have done the listerine thing but I just blocked it out. I told my husband the story and he thought since it was a winter thaw that, that thing had been frozen in the ground, so likely not germ infested...Anyway, we all survived
