What is the funny or craziest thing you have done in the hospital , or have had something done to you, that was funny. Lets say like walk out of the shower to get your clothes, and find yourself nude , and a room full of doctors, now thats funny! Funny thing when i was in hospital once i went to the toilet (like you do!) for a 'number 2' and a minute later the cleaner walks in and it stinks in there!!!!! And you cant do nothing because they know its you because youre the only one in that room!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">

Last time I was in, Mike stayed with me. We had a young nurse, so when we wanted "alone time" to "be" with each other, I finally just asked the nurse. I asked her if we could get a "do not disturb" sign or something. I told her I knew we were in a children's hospital, but we're both adults, and would like some privacy for a while. She sort of laughed at me. Told me she had a younger brother with CF, and he always used to pull the same kind of awesome stuff in the hospital. She said she'd be the only one coming in to see me for a few hours, so that until we opened up the curtain again, she'd just leave us be. And she held true to her word, we got our time alone. when i was younger around age 13-14 i was hospitalized about every 6 months. it was around the time of the smoking rooms comming out (by smoking rooms i mean the greenhouses with exhaust fans designed specifically for smokers)
the hospital i was in had a glass bridge going between the 2 wings of the hospital, the bridge was on the 11th floor. on floor 5 (the main floor) was this smoking room. i had gotten one of those laser pointers from radio shack (which now are very common but back then were like $50 and only seen in board rooms or movies as scopes on guns)
what i would do it shine the pen down on the floor in the smoking room and watch the smokers point at the dot. one smoker would point and at the red dot.... at that point i would always turn off the pointer. so that the person would say "hey look at that" and proceed to point down to absolutley nothing on the floor. they would look crazy and begin to look around for where it was comming from i was 6 floors above them so they never saw me so they would look all over to no avail
i would contiinue doing this and even ventured to follow people in the parking lot with it as well. funniest time was when one of the smokers got spooked and saw one too many terminator movies and thought they were being sniped by a sniper and began to run through the parking lot

About 5 years ago I went into the hospital right after I started dating a new guy. In the morning I told my nurse that I was a little constipated so she gave me a laxative. A couple hours later the guy stoped by to visit me and while he was there the laxative started to kick in. I held on with all my strength, though, because I knew if I went in the bathroom it would be loud and it would probably stink up the whole room as well. Finally he left, so I booked it to the bathroom and had the most explosive diarreah I can ever remember having. Little did I know that the guy had forgot his ticket for the parking lot and turned back around at the elevators to come retrieve it. I hear a knock on the bathroom door and he said "Are you ready for that body cavity check now?" I was mortified and started laughing and crying at the same time!

One time when I was a little girl I was in the hospital for one of my many tune ups. Well, my mom always tried to get me to cough so I can get the gunk out. Well, this time she decided to moon me so I would laugh like crazeeee and of course cough like crazeee. So as she is doing it a bunch of doctor's pass by my room. We laughed soooo hard and I always remember that when I go in for my tune ups.

One time when I was about 14 and you could be around other CF patients I was in the hospital at the same time my friend Mike was. Well one night we were walking around the hospital when he decided to take things. He took a thermostat covering, a telephone receiver, a keyboard and a few other items. He stashed them in his bathroom and thought it was hilarious. Well come to find out my brother who was in too and sharing a room with me told my mom what we did and I got the yelling of a lifetime. I was told to stay in my room until she got there the next day and told my brother if I left to call the nurse. She then yelled at Mike for taking the stuff and made him go around and put everything back. It was fun up until the point I was caught!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

After I had my port placed the doc came in the next day to check it...I flashed him. Instead of just slightly raising my shirt to show my port i just raised the whole shirt, showed him my boobs....(should have gotten some beads for that jk). I was doped up on pain meds, but still i was embarassed....he wasnt even phased though....
Another time my mom and I were setting up my iv in my port (already accessed-just hooking up meds) and i felt something move on the needle part that we hadnt touched, flet like the tape was coming up...well I just raise my shirt up really high again.....forgetting my boyfriend (now husband) was standing there watching and learning how to do my ivs.....gezzz i was embarrassed once again (ok it wasnt a hospital incident but it was funny)
and like emily me and my hubby would have our alone time. hey we are adults and if you know no one is coming in for a wile why not...they cant tell you not to especially if your married....now i did hear that my doc actually cought a couple once (yes another cfer) and he got pissed and said your supposed to be getting better not getting some...lol needless to say the boyfriend was kicked out that day, they werent married maybe that had somethign to do with it

Ahhh that's ridiculous. Mike and I aren't married... hell, the first time we stayed overnight together, he wasn't even an adult, he was still 17. My nurses didn't care when we asked them to stay out... and more than once we had a doc walk in while we were just starting the festivities and I had to pull down my shirt real fast, and sit up, or something else that madde it quite obvious what we were up to. My doctors always just kind of stifled a laugh and continued on about the medical business of things. Was pretty amusing though.
I hate how picky some hospitals are about visitors. Doesn't getting visitors help the patient? I never understood why there are specific visiting hours. Mike stays any and all hours he wants.... Hell, one time, we ordered out for Chinese late at night, after "visiting hours" had closed. So in order to go downstairs and get the Chinese, he had to be able to have some way to get back upstairs. Originally, our nurse was going to go get the Chinese for us (this was the same nurse who had previously had a CF brother, and let me and Mike alone), but when the time came, she was really busy. So instead, she gave Mike the code to the elevator. He went down, got the Chinese, put in the code, and came back up with our food. He still has the code on a slip of paper in his wallet. Hehehe. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

my first time in the hospital over the summer, I met some awesome cfers. We stayed up late talking and goofing around. Well, this one girl (very skinny, lacking in the boob region <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ) asked the nurses for some saline bags. She then taped up the bags and put them in her shirt as implants! Good times, lol

During one of my hospital stays, my boyfriend came to visit me. It was a warm summer night so we decided to go hang out in the Children's Hospital courtyard where there was a gazebo. A few kisses lead to groping, and since it was practically dark out and there was no one around, groping lead to the deed. When we were done we went to go back inside but apparently after a certain hour you need to buzz the guard to get back in. When we buzzed the guards asked who we were, I replied that I was a patient. In a scolding tone, the guy came back over the intercom and said "We saw what you were doing and if we catch you doing it again we will notify the police." The door buzzed open and we walked in horrified while the guard poked his head out of his office and gave us an awful glarre! I've never been more embarrased!!!

My hospital doesnt really care about visitiors. They can come and go when you please. So one night my step brother said he would come up and stay with me, so he came up and it was like 2 am. Well the doors atomatically lock like they will open if you go out but not if your coming in after 10 I think. So I told him I would go down and stand in front of the door to let him in, well there are 2 sets of doors so i though I would stand inbetween the doors to keep both open. Well apparently that didnt work so i got stuck in between the doors, locked out. Luckily there was a guy cleaning the floors and he let me in after banging at the door begging to come in.

ugh when my now, ex boyfriend was in the hospital, i havent seen him in a few weeks and i kissed him...he was getting fed by liquids...omfg never kiss someone after they have just been feed that...thats so nasty i felt like throwing up
