What a sad day to hear that one of our own has been taken from us! Thank you for sharing this news with us. It really does make you step back and think on life and our reality. Good luck to family and friends I pray that you can find comfort and peace of mind.

I distinctly remember that post about Merry Christmas, Happy New Year etc. I remember thinking it was a really nice thing to say, and nicely worded.

I am so sorry to hear about Eric's passing... It is great to know that he was an active Christian. It breaks my heart to hear of the young CFer's leaving us at such an early age.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh, no...I didn't want to read this post because I knew what it would say... Eric was a wonderful guy. I did a drawing for the story he was writing a while back. I hope he got to finish it before he passed on... I'm trying not to cry right now... I'm going to re-publish the illustration on deviantART in memory of him. Its not much, but its the least I feel I can do.

Rest in peace, Eric. My deepest sympathies to his family...

I'm also saddened to hear about Eric, after following down to recognize that EB= Eric Baumgarten.
I've had some enjoyable exchanges with him on this site, and had the impression he wasn't so ill, so it's sort of a shock to me.
However, I haven't been able to spend the "quality time" I used to, or I would have noticed his recent post a little sooner.
My thoughts and prayers are with Eric's Family and friends.

I didnt know him very well but i am deeply saddned by such news of such an early age. I cannot imagine what the family and friends are going through right now...but...i do send my empathy! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">. I just about started to cry when i read this because it is another CFer who has lived through struggle and hard times to fight for this darn disease....sending <3 to his family. May he have much a better time now than ever.
