G-tube formula?

The boys have done well on Nutrin 1.5 for several years. Now we're told it has been discontinued. Our health care company sent IsoSource as a replacement. We've had problems with that in the past, too thick and rich, but we tried it again.

Sure enough, poor Jesse had cramping and terrible gas all day yesterday. <img src="">He pooped all day. We had given him enzymes before and after and even Viokase in the middle!

I'm going to call today to see what options they can give us, but I wondered what you all use. We've tried Iso Cal and Peptimin too.

Total about 2500 calories.

I just talked to the nutritionist. She said Nestle stopped making the Nutrin early because they didn't want to get stuck with a backup after people switched over (?) So the care company sent out an alternate. There is a new product that she will send ASAP.

BTW- The Iso Souce has <b>FIBER</b>! We didn't need that!
