We do Pediasure and, up to now added Peptamin Jr. which is also being discontinued with the Novartis/Nestle merger or buyout or whatever it is.

I went to Nestle's website and didn't see any information about the Peptamen Jr.
My son also is on a pediasure/Peptamen Jr mix. I'm not fond of Peptament Jr but know it is something my son needs.

I just ordered more from my pharmacy this morning and asked them about it being discontinued. They said they didn't know and would call back if there are any problems in getting the Peptamen Jr ordered.

We got the new formula yesterday. Its called OSMOLITE 1.5 made by ROSS.

The nutritionist said this is the closest thing she has to Nutren 1.5

We haven't used it yet but I'll let you know how they do.
The differences that I can tell are:
-the cans are smaller (8oz Nutren was 8.5)
-fewer calories (355- Nutren was 375)
-less fat (11.6 g Nutren was16.9)
-more Vitamin A, about the same on the others

So to make up the difference in calories, we'll up the Duocal. It will be less volume with Osmolite so we'll have room.
