I've had stomach problems forever but it's hard for me to pinpoint when I have stomach pain what is the specific cause.

When I was hospitalised last september they did an ultrasound on my stomach ans that's when I knew something was wrong.

I'd been having pain leading up to the ultrasound but when the tech started rubbing that crap on my stomach and moving that thing around it was so painfull.

The inside of my stomach hurt but when he was pressing on it that hurt to. I almost cried.

When the results came back I had gallbladder stones and they put me on Ursidol right away.

I get it checked again in a few months to see where it's at.

I hope I dont need surgery.I've already had two for various stomach reasons.

I just had my gall bladder out on April 2. My pains were under my rib cage on my right side and also after I would eat my back hurt between my shoulders. I felt full all of the time too even if I hadn't eaten anything for hours (which for me is unusual ha!). The pain for me would get worse especially in the middle of the night, waking me up crying and then last as a dull pain throughout the day. Running was put on hold for a few days because it hurt to run..if felt like a baby was going to pop out of my stomach!

After speaking to a resident on call who was absolutely no help I went in to see my GI doc who suspected stones. He took blood and that night he called and said to go to the ER. My white blood count was up. So I had a sweet infection in there (cholecystitis) and a ton of stones and they docs said that it was good we got it out when we did. Two days later they pulled that baby outta there and I've been feeling great ever since.

One symptom I noticed that has changed since the removal; I have been battling crazy constipation for the past year or so. In the past month my digestion has been top notch. A little constipation but also things look pretty "normal" for me and I'm liking it!
