I have been updating his caring bridge site, but have been pretty busy and havent stopped by to update here.

He has been up and down, more down than up. But the up times are good. Right now he is pretty angry, and doesnt really want to talk to anyone. They have put the chest tube back on suction. And are contemplating going back in to re position it or place a different one.. This one just isnt doing much.

Anyway we are on day 21 in the hospital and getting really tired of things. I know there are others that have spent much longer in the joint, and we have been in longer than this before but right now, being this far from home and not knowing what is ahead is really taking a toll on all of us. I know that even if he gets the transplant tomorrow we will be spending the next three months here at least and well that can be disheartening to say the least.

Anyway, that is what is happening now. Talk to you soon.
