genetic testing for new mutation specific drugs?

Tom - good point. Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic that the drugs in clinical trials will work and be approved. If they do go through, I wonder how the insurance companies will respond to genetic testing requests... The $2-3k for testing doesn't seem like much compared to the regular costs of hospitalization and CF care.
