I will give you my full routine and thus answer your storing question...

I boil nebs after each use. But I have enough nebs for about 3 days. I have a big pot with a pasta strainer inside it. Once the water boils, I boil the nebs for about 15 minutes (I only boil the bubble masks for 5 minutes, as they lose their shape if boiled any longer). I pull the strainer out of the water and shake off as much water as possible. I then put the neb pieces in the germ guardian, to get them dry really quick and store them either in a zip loc bag or a plastic tub with the lid on tight.

The germ guardian does not get hot enough to get rid of the stuff we are trying to get rid of. Especially with it being a dry heat and not a moist heat. But it works good to dry things and to not have the nebs sitting out collecting dust and having flies and stuff land on them.

blessings,
missa

That's why i love it! We wash and boil after each use then use the GG to dry and store the cups. It keeps them clean and off the counter- nice!
