Getting an NG Tube this weekend

My son that is now 8 years old actually came home with a ng tube b/c he needed a little extra help. He only had it for about a month and then they removed it. He now has a g tube in his belly and it is a blessing. He has had it for about 2 years now and there is no more pushing him to eat.

They actually just upped it to 3 cans of Carnation Instant Breakfast VHC and 2 cans of CIB Plus that he gets all at night. The dietician decided this and he has actually gained a pound in the last week. He gets the majority of the calories he needs for the day through this so it is not such a push to get him to eat.
